Here is my client’s Home Design reveal! This client purchased a historic Victorian house in the Aspinwall neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. She wanted a space that beautiful and showed off her eclectic style, while also honored the historic charm and character of the house. We created a style for this home that is a mixture of mid century modern, glam, and traditional all in one! I think it’s safe to say we nailed it! 🙂

Entryway:

We wanted to make a statement in the entryway without making it feel too dark. In order to bring out the natural character of the home, we are adding wainscoting to the walls in the entry and dining rooms. In the entryway, we are painting the far wall a beautiful green to make it pop.

The bold statement bench from CB2 and dramatic art (Lulu and Georgia) really make this entryway stand out!

Living Room:

The living room and kitchen are the heart of the home, so the client wanted a cozy spot that also reflected her same style.  

How we achieved this: West Elm sectional sofa, bold West Elm chair, mid century coffee table, accents with artwork and lighting. We both loved all of the colors and how it came together!

Dining Room:

This client’s goal for the dining room was not a traditional formal dining room. An eating area with a bar (they like to entertain), but also a seating area to sit down in.

How we achieved this: show-stopping Cane bar from Crate and Barrel. Extendable dining table from West Elm, so that they can entertain more when they need to.

Could you love the gorgeous emerald sofa anymore?! Definitely another show-stopper. I also love the caned chairs in the seating area. There really is so much I love about this space!
